Around 2013 I went back to my childhood home in Malang Indonesia. Malang is the second largest city in East Java with a population of close to 3 million people. Back then all I had with me was a beat up Nikon 5100 with a 18-55mm kit lens. I stuck a $20 third party wide angle adapter on it and went off exploring parts of town I remembered as a kid. While the results optically were far from great, the subject matter was fantastic.
The images you see below are from a popular Bird and Flower market in town. Vendors line the streets and they often sell more than just birds. This is an interesting point of interest if you ever have the chance to visit the area or you are passing through. I hope you enjoy these images posted below, happy travels!
